Evidence Synthesis

Gathering, evaluating, and integrating findings from multiple studies to provide comprehensive conclusions to inform healthcare decisions, policy-making, and clinical practice

Evidence synthesis is a crucial aspect of healthcare research and practice. Our research contributes to an understanding of how different treatments, interventions, or care approaches interact and affect people with diverse health profiles.

We produce high-quality, reliable summaries of the available evidence to support uptake of effective healthcare interventions, improve patient outcomes, and optimise resource allocation. We have extensive experience with Cochrane methods, conducting reviews of intervention effectiveness using meta-analysis and network meta-analysis. We also have substantial experience of qualitative and mixed methods evidence syntheses. Many of our studies incorporate evidence syntheses; additionally we have conducted multiple dedicated evidence synthesis projects.
