The NIHR funded Pain in Older People (POPPY) study is being presented at the IASP 2024 World Congress on Pain https://www.iasp-pain.org/iasp-2024-world-congress-on-pain/ in Amsterdam. Dr Lesley Brown from the Academic Unit of Ageing and Stroke Research is the POPPY study co-lead and will present the study as part of a topical workshop on Understanding the Needs of Older Adults with Chronic Pain and Adapting Treatment Approaches. Other workshop speakers include Miriam Kunz from the University of Augsburg and Katie Herron from The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust.
The IASP 2024 World Congress on Pain takes place between 5th to 9th August.
